Male Models --- Slurpss

Being a girl and straight and love fashion blogs and shows, make me sticking my eyes closely to male models. Just today Jak & Jil showed me picture galore of slurpy models. Thanks for bringing us THAT close, photographers! Ha ha.

Can we pass this one? Hmm no way.

A+ girls??

Stay in shape is goooood *absolutely can use Joey's tone here ;) *

I'm refraining myself to say something kinky now lol, SUPERMAN!!

Love this guy, is there any way you google a face like you do to a name? Haha.
Look at that old fashioned hairstyle.

Guy in front, I have seen similar faces... one at the back, nice hair dude :P

Now this is a more hottie version of John Lennon, love this one too! Except for the ciggy.

Androgyny: something I do not fancy, he looks prettier than me :(

*speechless*

Eye candies, we want them all! It's great to be single *zips up* :P

Shoes and Socks

Whether or not the idea thrills you, the evidence is clear: wearing ankle socks under your favourite pair of heels is no longer a faux pas. If you're skeptical it's time to start looking on the bright side - socks are cheap, won't take up lots of space in your wardrobe, and are wholly practical. - Tania Braukamper

Can not agree more with Tania, since me + heels = pain, so this is the best way to look pretty in heels (edgy too, in this style). This far I've done it TWICE to work. Comments from others: not all styley and supportive lol, but heck if I care. For me its NOT just about style, its about wearing something I have bought painlessly ;)  *will add my own shoes and socks pic soon*

We Dropped by Some Thrift Stores

Few weeks ago, Aan and I went for some madness channeling on some thrift stores. If you never been to Indonesia I might have to give you a better insight on these stores, from the stuff they got in there I assume they came from Japan or Korea amongst other places.

Say you have good eyes, time and energy too, you most definitely have to deal with the bad smell. The mix of damp dust and I dunno whatelse sticking on the clothes which by the end of struggle you would say it worths it, with a full bag in your hand.

Anyhow, one the spree I came across this wicked awesome belt for only $2ish

I really really liked this dress, sexy aint it? It costs $5, but the condition wasn't so good on some parts and my friend didn't really recommend me to buy it. So I put it back :(

There were a white bolero and brown dress went home with me that day, too ;)

Is That All I Care About?

Dear a piece of paper that I've been staring for a week 3 days 8 hours and 45 minutes
Loving a different name would be another story
Time I'm spending is to wonder...
Has the previous story made me a stronger writer?
No one wants to go through the same lines again when it's hurtful
Figure that is what I spend my time for
To come up with different lines although it might be twisting and tiring
But its the chances we take to make different ending
Is that all I care about?

What about the journey that makes me grow?
What about seeing things I come to know?
By heart...

Weren't you the only one who sang the song to me?
It is so distant in memory I should've forgotten by now
In fact, I haven't... this is why I hate fact
Should I be grateful that your voice has blended with others
Fading fading fading to be a vibrating line of noise
But never comes to death, like a sweet dark nightmare
Kick it away but pleased not to be alone when it comes back persistently
Preserving memories inside a thick candy can
Is that all I care about?

I Too Had A Love Story - Book by Ravinder Singh

A CELEBRATED maxim says that it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. Ravinder Singh’s ‘I Too Had A Love Story’ proves the maxim true and beautifully depicts the beauty and power of true love through the writer’s own heart touching love story.

It is the narrative of the journey of meeting of two strangers through a matrimonial site to the point, where their relationship becomes the most precious gift of Almighty.

Ravinder and Khushi have never seen each other, but love has made them one. The writer has successfully brought out the depth of their relationship through the lively and graphic delineation of their conversation, feelings and emotions.

The readers can feel their warmth and closeness in the lively and picturesque account of how they longed to be with each other in the rain, the coaxing and cajoling after the tiffs and trying to feel each other in imagination.

Reading this book is all the more enjoyable as the reader relates and identifies with the writer. Impatiently waiting for the next phone call, little surprises bringing them closer, late night conversations, tears and smiles, all these make it a read-till-finish book.

The throbbing curiosity, the irrepressible apprehensions and the overpowering excitement and happiness to meet Khushi in person for the first time takes the story to a crescendo of feelings, emotion and action. Soft and light hearted humor strewn throughout adds an entertainment quotient to the story. The writer tickles a funny bone as he talks about his paranoia when revealing his affair to his parents.

Tear will roll down when an accident leave Khushi battling with death and Ravinder shattered. It reminds that a beloved can save his love till where God intervenes.

Along with the innate beauty of their love story, the expression of the subtle emotions in the most simple and lucid way makes it special. The fact that the writer does not make any effort to impress the readers with lofty words and articulations point to the honesty of the writer’s feelings.

The writer has summed up the essence of his story in the most appealing terms. Not everyone in this world has the fate to cherish the fullest form of love. Some are born, just to experience the abbreviation of it.

Those for whom love is the most beautiful feeling above human definitions and parameters the book will make for an ever cherished experience.

An Indian friend of mine, Jesh told me one day he's spent the night reading this book and was very deeply touched. He recommended me to read this book but unfortunately until now I haven't seen it at Periplus book store. Therefore I can not tell you what I think about the book, hopefully tho the review above gives you a glimpse about the book :)

Crazy Necklace My Friend Calls Chandelier

My friend says I look like a mix of Angelina Jolie and Lucy Lawless of Xena The Warrior Princess in this pic ^-^v but the star is the pretty necklace

Now I look like a funny kid with chandelier hanging on her neck lol

Before goin to work, mixing my white shirt and plaid skirt I bought at thrift store and trying to show the necklace off :)

My sister says the necklace is hidden, but I think it's a kinda sexy way to dress to work. Preppy look!

The Shoes I Want ATM

I came across a shoe like these at a boutique in Samarinda, but with different kind of heels. They were too high for me tho, 7cm tall is unbearable. So although I want them so bad I didn't buy them. I have several shoes left unused which I bought just cos they were cute. Aren't so cute when I can not wear them I have such a fussy sensitive skin, so easy to get blisters :(

My, not 27 yet, Dresses

Black dress with gray-ish flower and white jacket

Not a clear one I know, I bought the black version of this dress for office party for $17
Lace on top dress, which I tried but didnt buy for the office party :P

On my effort to look retro a $18 dress, I chose this color than dark blue one. Good choice?

The gray top, I love gray, I bought at Pasar Pagi (Morning Market) for $8 and I mix it with gray cardigans by Rodeo $20ish
Another gray working dress I bought for $10 no brand, but absolutely great with simple design.
The same gray dress worn to work outdoor :)
Balinese Batik top, a gift from a friend. Halter neck thigh length.

This one is getting shorter and hard to wear when I ride motorbike so these days I tuck it into my black jeans and wear it as top, still love it. I bought it at a local thrift store :)
